8-Day Nyerere & Ruaha Wilderness Safari

Quieter parks in the south: boat safaris on the Rufiji River and remote game drives in Ruaha.

  • 8 days

Overview

This itinerary explores two of Tanzania's less-visited parks. In Nyerere you combine boat safaris, walking and game drives along the Rufiji River. In Ruaha you explore rugged baobab country with large predator populations.

Both parks are reached by light aircraft, which saves long road journeys and offers aerial views of the landscape.
