This itinerary pairs a classic northern circuit safari with a beach stay in Zanzibar, giving you a complete Tanzanian experience. After Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro, you fly to the island to rest, swim and explore Stone Town.
We can choose a beach on the calmer north coast or the quieter east coast depending on the time of year and your preferences.

Day1 Arrive in Arusha
Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for an evening safari briefing.

Drive to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among elephants and baobabs.

Day3 Tarangire to the Serengeti
A long scenic drive via the Ngorongoro highlands and Olduvai Gorge to the Serengeti, with game viewing on arrival.

Day4 Serengeti game drives
A full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon drives and a bush picnic.

Day5 Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Drive to the crater rim, stopping for wildlife on the way.

Day6 Ngorongoro Crater, then Arusha
Morning game drive on the crater floor, then return to Arusha and an evening at your hotel.

Day7 Fly to Zanzibar
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Meet your driver and settle in at your beach lodge.

Day8 Stone Town and spice tour
Explore the alleys, markets and historic buildings of Stone Town with a local guide, followed by a visit to a spice farm.

Day9 Beach day
A free day to relax, swim or snorkel. We can arrange a dhow sunset cruise or a visit to Jozani Forest.
